Hello

 I never know how much to write for the ‘About’ page. Maybe I should just pretend I’m attending a small social gathering, and have just shaken your hand.

Here is my side of the imagined conversation:

‘Hello, I’m Allison. Yes, I live in Northern Vermont. I’ve been there for about a few decades. We were in North Carolina before that. My husband went to school there for his PhD. Entomology.

Um- originally, we are New Jersey natives. I lived a little north of Princeton. Yes! It does get cold where I live now. Long, cold winters. But it was good for home educating. Six children. Yup! All exclusively. They’re all adults now.

I do have grandchildren!

What do I do? Well, mostly I try to stay out of trouble. It seems to be getting more difficult for some reason. I’ll let you know if I figure out why.

I am working on a Children’s Book with Orange Hat Press in Wisconsin. It is with the illustrator right now. She’s great. The company is also great. It’s been a wonderful experience so far.

Yes, I will definitely let you know when it comes out!
